Single Ticket Exchanges
Single tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production at the Box Office up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled performance. A fee of $3.50 per ticket will be applied, plus any increase in ticket price. Tickets must be presented at time of exchange. We regret that we cannot seat a patron who has missed a previous performance.
Season Pass Ticket Exchanges
Season pass tickets may be exchanged for another performance of the same production at the Box Office up to 48 hours in advance of the scheduled performance. The $3.50 per ticket exchange fee will be waived for pass tickets exchanged with 48 hours’ notice. With less than 48 hours’ notice, a $3.50 per ticket charge will be applied. Tickets must be presented at time of exchange. We regret that we cannot seat a patron who has missed a previous performance.
If you are unable to use your tickets, please consider donating them to Barrington Stage by calling the Box Office at 413-236-8888 before your scheduled show. Barrington Stage cannot guarantee that ticket donations are tax-deductible and does not produce tax receipts for these donations. Please consult with your tax professional if you plan on deducting a ticket donation.
Free Replacement Tickets
If you lose your tickets or forget to bring them with you to the theatre, contact the ticket office at 413-236-8888 and we will replace them. These tickets will override the missing original tickets.
A $3.00 service charge per ticket and $5.00 service charge per pass applies to all phone, fax, online and mail purchases. Fee is waived for walk-up single ticket sales only.
All tickets include a $2.00 per ticket facilities restoration charge.
Discounted tickets may be purchased over the phone or in-person only. No online sales (except Low-Priced Preview and Mainstage Section C tickets). It is the responsibility of the patron to mention promotions when placing an order. Once a sale has been processed, no refunds or promotional discounts will be issued. Special discounts may not be used on Section C tickets or Low Priced Previews and may not be combined with any other offers.
Latecomers are seated at the sole discretion of the House Manager. Performances start promptly. If you are not present at curtain time, your seat assignment may change or we may be unable to seat you, depending on the production.
Barrington Stage welcomes patrons ages 6 and older. As a courtesy to our guests, children under the age of 6 will not be permitted into any theatre except our Youth Theatre, where children ages 5 and older are welcomed for all performances. New this year! Special Family Day Matinees, Saturday performances at 2:00 welcome children age 3 and up. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket, sit in a seat and be able to sit quietly through the performance.
Assistive Hearing Devices
The Boyd-Quinson Mainstage is equipped with an assisted listening system for the hearing impaired throughout the house. An induction loop system is also installed in the front orchestra. Please select the T position on your hearing devices to access this service.
The St. Germain Stage is equipped with an assisted listening system for the hearing impaired throughout the house.
Hearing devices are available at the Box Office on a first-come, first-served basis the night of the performance. Sorry, no reservations accepted in advance.
Our venues are wheelchair accessible. Please notify the Box Office if you require wheelchair seating when booking (48-hour advance notice greatly appreciated). Please note: the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage theatre does not have an elevator. The mezzanine is accessible by stairs only.
