Join the Barrington Stage Company for an extraordinary free community event that dives into the heart of Black history and culture. As we honor the past and inspire the future, this evening is an invitation to witness the power of young voices as they explore their heritage through performance, nurtured by industry professionals.

This unforgettable evening showcases the passion and potential of young performers, guided by the exceptional talents of renowned producers Sharron Frazier-McClain and Melle Powers, with the captivating musical direction of Gary Mitchell, Jr., and under the visionary direction of Sabrina Francis. Together, they promise an experience that will linger in your heart and mind.

The richness of this event is amplified by the generous support it receives. Funded through a heartfelt grant from the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, this initiative is a testament to the community’s commitment to elevating Black voices. In an inspiring collaboration with the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, our performers delve into mindfulness practices, adding depth to their performances and personal growth. Additionally, the warm meals provided by the Christian Center ensure a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for all participants, fostering creativity and community spirit.

Celebrate with us the beauty, resilience, and diversity of Black history and culture in an evening where every moment is a tribute to the enduring spirit and contributions of the Black community.
