It takes a village to raise a child, but it may also take a village to make one. This funny and honest new comedy by Bekah Brunstetter — one of the original writers on NBC’s This Is Us — is proudly commissioned by BSC and reunites Bekah with her team from 2018’s The Cake, actress Debra Jo Rupp and director Jennifer Chambers. In Mother’s Day, Mara and Andy are determined to have a baby, but they can’t do it on their own. With the help of a new doctor (played by Rupp), they explore the dizzying world of injections, IVF and ice cream sandwiches. The cast includes Virginia Kull, Andy Lucien and Edward Astor Chin. Motherhood is the best job in the world, but getting there can be a real mother…
