Contemporary classics. Adventurous works. Bold voices. The once-and-future leaders of American theatre inspire our 2025 Season.
A musical crown jewel of Broadway’s Golden Age (Camelot) will shine again. Two celebrated plays put power in the spotlight—a tour de force about a five-star President (Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground) and a Congressional clash between a trailblazer and a firebrand (N/A). National treasures are given new perspectives in a slam-dunk comedy about friendship, fandom, and basketball royalty (King James) and a no-holds-barred look at the queen of stand-up comedy, Joan Rivers (Joan). And the great new works continue with two world premieres: a poignant and compassionate play about the ties that bind us (The Yom Kippur Play) and a whimsical musical that pulls at the heartstrings—with puppets (fuzzy).
Great theatre sparks a conversation. It starts at Barrington Stage Company.
