Barrington Stage is starting a training program for interested community members (18 and older, retirees welcome) who are interested in working behind the scenes at the theatre, both for the 10×10 New Play Festival in February and for the summer season of 2022.
You will be paid while training with the BSC staff. Some positions take two weekends of training, others take several weeks — depending on the skill level required. Positions are available in the following areas:
- House management
- Costumes
- Wardrobe
- Administration
- Bookkeeping/Accounting
- Box Office Associates
- Company Management
- Marketing
- Carpenters and Electricians
- Scenic Painters
- Prop Artisans
- Backstage Crew
- Custodian
- Concessions Manager
