BARRINGTON STAGE COMPANY WELCOMES
CAROLINE HOLLAND AND DEBRA JO RUPP
TO BOARD OF TRUSTEES

(Pittsfield, MA) Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, is pleased to welcome Caroline Holland and Debra Jo Rupp to the Board of Trustees.

“Caroline Holland and Debra Jo Rupp are exciting new additions to the Board. Caroline’s knowledge of the Berkshire community and what it needs to make it even more vibrant is extraordinary. Debra Jo’s voice as a working theatre artist is important as we move ahead developing new work and community projects. We look forward to working side by side with them furthering Barrington Stage’s mission,” said ​Artistic Director Julianne Boyd.

“Debra Jo’s long and vibrant association as an associate artist with BSC will give our board an actor’s perspective, enriching our decisions and enhancing our future. Carrie brings an in depth knowledge of the Berkshire community. Her exceptional work in the redevelopment of Pittsfield compliments Barrington Stage’s unwavering commitment to the city,” said Barrington Stage Board President Marita Glodt.

Caroline Holland is the Managing Director of Mill Town Capital overseeing operations, strategy and project execution for Mill Town Capital, an impact investment fund focused on the Berkshires. She was formerly the Strategy & Business Development Manager at General Dynamics Mission Systems in Pittsfield and the Senior Associate at the MASY Group in Alexandria, VA. Caroline holds a Master of Arts in International Conflict & Security Studies from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond. She lives in Pittsfield with her husband Sam Russo.

Debra Jo Rupp is an Associate Artist at Barrington Stage. Her many credits include Time Flies and Other Comedies; The Cake; Love Letters; Kimberly Akimbo; Dr. Ruth, All the Way; To Kill a Mockingbird; Ring Round the Moon; Project Laramie. Broadway: Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with Kathleen Turner. Off Broadway: The Cake (Drama League nomination); Becoming Dr. Ruth (Drama Desk, Outer Critics, CT Critics Circle nominations); A Girl’s Guide to Chaos; Frankie and Johnnie in the Claire de Lune, The Butcher of Baraboo. Recent regional: The Cake (LA Stage Ovation Award, LA Drama Critics Circle Award), Deathtrap (BTG), Madagascar (Chester), Annapurna (TheaterWorks), True West, A Flea in Her Ear (Williamstown). Film credits include Big, Clockwatchers, Sgt Bilko, She’s Out of My League and over 200 television appearances, most notably: That ‘70s Show, Seinfeld, Friends, NCIS: LA, Elementary. Currently recurring on This Is Us and The Ranch with Sam Elliot (Netflix).
