VETERANS PLAYWRITING WORKSHOP

“Writing is therapeutic, putting you in touch with emotions that, sometimes surprisingly, emerge while trying to express yourself on paper. Telling stories can be cathartic for both storytellers and their listeners. By its nature, theater offers a sense of community; it succeeds only with collaboration of all involved. Creativity is nurtured from this partnership. Playwriting will encourage veterans to raise their voices, too often silent or ignored. For Barrington Stage, it’s another important outreach into our community.” ~Mark St. Germain, |
