Box Office Policies
Ticket Refunds
All Ticket Sales are final. If you require a refund due to illness or the cancellation of a performance, please contact the Box Office, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Single Ticket Exchange
An exchange fee of $2.50 per order is applied when exchanging tickets and applies to all purchases.
Fees and Charges
Booking Fees: A $3.00 per-order booking fee applies to all ticket purchases.
Facility Fees: A $2.25 per-ticket facility fee applies to all credit card purchases. To avoid this fee, you can pay with cash or check in person.
Subscription Booking Fees: A 5.5% booking fee applies to each subscription package purchased.
Ticket Reselling
Barrington Stage does not authorize the reselling of tickets. If you are unable to attend, you can call the box office and revert your tickets into a donation at any time.
Latecomers
Latecomers are seated at the sole discretion of the House Manager. Performances start promptly. If you are not present at curtain time, your seat assignment may change or we may be unable to seat you, depending on the production.
Children
Barrington Stage provides the suggested age ranges for each of our shows. Regardless of age, every person must have a ticket, sit in a seat, and be able to adhere to appropriate theatre etiquette. Our Devised Theatre Ensemble is a family-friendly offering, where all ages are welcome to attend.
Accessibility and Accommodations

- The Boyd-Quinson Stage and the St. Germain Stage are equipped with an assistive listening system for the hearing impaired throughout the house. An induction loop system is also installed in the front orchestra. Please select the T position on your hearing devices to access this service. Hearing devices are available at the Box Office on a first-come, first-served basis the night of the performance. Sorry, no reservations are accepted in advance.

Discounted Tickets
At Barrington Stage, we believe that theatre is for everyone and offer a range of discounted tickets to ensure anyone can attend our productions. For most discounts, a valid form of ID or proof of residency will be required for purchase. Therefore, most of these discounts are not available online and must be purchased over the phone or in person at the Box Office.
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GUEST TO REQUEST PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS WHEN PLACING AN ORDER.
Once a sale has been processed, no refunds or promotional discounts can be initiated retroactively. Special discounts may not be used on section D or for discounted preview performances and may not be combined with any other offers.

$49 Section D Tickets
Every production at the Boyd-Quinson ensures that tickets are available starting at $49 in section D. In the St. Germain, $49 tickets are available in section B. May not be combined with any other discount.

- Payment Schedule:
- A 50% deposit is required at the time of the requested booking to hold your seats. If the numbers in your group change, we can add or release tickets up to 2 weeks before your selected group performance. At that point, final payment and full count are required, or the group block will be released for general sale.

Our #BSC40 membership program is for patrons ages 18–40. Membership is FREE and tickets to BSC productions are just $40 each. That’s up to 64% (or more!) off of a full-price single ticket.*

Playwrights Welcome
Playwrights Welcome is a new program created by multiple national partners to support and inspire playwrights, lyricists and composers who are members of the Dramatists Guild of American by offering free tickets to performances around the country.
- Policies:
- 1 free ticket per production
- An extra ticket may be purchased at 20% off (only at the same time of purchase)
- Limited # of seats available per performance
- Not available Friday and Saturday nights, special events or cabarets
- Dramatist card must be presented at Will Call
- Tickets can be bought in advance in person or by calling the Box Office
