BARRINGTON STAGE COMPANY to hold
LOCAL EQUITY PRINCIPAL AUDITIONS for 2014 Musicals and Plays
February 20 and 21 from 1pm – 6pm

(Pittsfield, MA) February 11, 2014 – Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, will hold local Equity Principal Auditions for the musicals (Kiss Me, Kate; The Golem of Havana and Romance in Hard Times) on February 20 from 1-6pm and for the plays (The Other Place, Breaking the Code, Dancing Lessons, and An Enemy of the People) on February 21 from 1-6pm. Non-Equity performers will also be seen.
The auditions, by appointment only, will be held at the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage, 30 Union Street, Pittsfield, MA.
Actors auditioning for the musicals are asked to prepare 16 bars of a traditional up-tempo song that shows range. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a headshot and resume stapled together.
Actors auditioning for the plays should prepare a brief 90-second monologue in the style of the play (s) you wish to audition for. Please bring a headshot and resume stapled together.
