BARRINGTON STAGE COMPANY for
20 SEASONS CELEBRATION on July 7
(Pittsfield, MA) Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning regional theatre in Downtown Pittsfield, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, is proud to announce its 20 Seasons Celebration on Monday, July 7, 2014.
The 20 Seasons Celebration begins with a champagne reception at 5pm at the Boyd-Quinson Mainstage (30 Union Street).
“We’re honored that so many illustrious artists are returning home to Barrington Stage to celebrate this very special occasion,” said Artistic Director Julianne Boyd.
A one-night-only performance follows at 6pm with great musical moments from 20 seasons of BSC’s best musicals including Cabaret, Follies, Guys and Dolls, Carousel, South Pacific, and On the Town, performed by some of BSC’s favorite stars including Tony-winners Donna McKechnie and William Finn, along with Charlie Brady, Leslie Denniston, Mark H. Dold, Joe Iconis, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Daniel Marcus, Gail Nelson, Marni Nixon, Brad Oscar, Aaron Ramey, Christina Robinson, Debra Jo Rupp, Mark St. Germain, Christianne Tisdale, Alysha Umphress, and Brandy Zarle.
BSC Associate Artist Darren R. Cohen will be Musical Director, with Will Hack on bass and Jeff Roberts on percussion.
The Celebration continues outside at 7:30pm under the tent, where patrons will enjoy music, champagne, delicious food, signature cocktails, laughter and the company of friends. Beginning at 9pm the Wanda Houston Band will kick off dancing and more celebrating.

Honorary Chairs for Barrington Stage’s 20 Seasons Celebration are Massachusetts Governor Deval L. Patrick and First Lady Diane B. Patrick.
The evening’s co-chairs are Mary Ann & Bruno Quinson and Eileen Young. The Celebration Committee includes Mary Carswell, Kathleen and Neil Chrisman, Ursula and Walter Cliff, Barbara Cutler Emden and James Emden, Audrey and Ralph Friedner, Wendy Linscott and Jim Lamme, Debra Miersma, Catherine Miller, Marion and Marshall Raser, Carrie Schulman, Ginger Schwartz, Betsey and Mark Selkowitz, Lauren Spitz, and Reid White.
Starting June 2, 2014, Barrington Stage Company will be auctioning off 20 spectacular unique items, exotic getaways and one- of-a-kind experiences. Barrington Stage is proudly celebrating 20 Seasons of professional theatre. All proceeds from the Auction will benefit the theatre and its mission.
Performance/dinner tickets are sold out; however, a limited number of performance-only tickets are available in the mezzanine for $100 each and may be purchased by calling the Barrington Stage Box Office at 413-236-8888.
