Box Office Policies

Ticket Refunds

Barrington Stage has a no-refund policy. Ticket donations are gladly accepted and acknowledged with a tax-deductible receipt.  

Ticket Exchanges

Single Ticket Buyers may exchange tickets for another performance of the same production at the Box Office window 48 hours in advance for a fee of $3.00 per ticket plus any increase in ticket price. Subscribers may exchange with no fee up to 48 hours in advance. Subscriber exchanges made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged a fee of $3.00 per ticket. Tickets must be presented at time of exchange.  

Handling Fee

A $2.50 service charge per ticket and $4.00 service charge per subscription applies to all phone, fax, online and mail purchases. Fee is waived for walk-up single ticket sales only.  

$1 Restoration Fee

All tickets include a $1 per ticket facilities restoration charge.  

Discounted Tickets

Discounted tickets may be purchased over the phone or in-person only. No online sales (except Preview Performance tickets). It is the responsibility of the patron to mention promotions when placing an order. Once a sale has been processed, no refunds or promotional discounts will be issued. Discounts may not be combined. 

Late Seating

Latecomers are seated at the sole discretion of the House Manager. Performances start promptly. If you are not present at curtain time, your seat assignment may change.  

Children

Barrington Stage welcomes patrons ages 6 and older. As a courtesy to our guests, children under the age of 6 will not be permitted into any theatre. Please be aware that all patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket. 

Accessibility

Assistive Hearing Devices

We now have a new assistive hearing system at the Mainstage. Hearing devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis the night of the performance. Sorry, no reservations accepted in advance.  

Wheelchair Accessibility

The Mainstage and Stage 2 theatres are wheelchair accessible. Please notify the Box Office if you require wheelchair seating when booking (48-hour advance notice greatly appreciated).  

Service Animals

Although animals are not permitted in the theatre, an exception is made for guide dogs and service animals. Please inform the Box Office if any accommodations are required.
