MAY 22 & 23

Donna McKechnie in Same Place: Another Time – May 22 & 23 at 8:00pm. Tickets: $52.

The Tony Award-winning star of A Chorus Line returns to BSC in her new show, a musical déjà vu celebrating the scintillating 70’s in New York City – the heyday of Studio 54. She takes a personal spin on the “ingénue” coming to NY, finding love and success and losing her innocence, perhaps, but never her spirit.

MAY 29 & 30

Leslie Kritzer in Leslie’s Back! – May 29 at 9:00pm & May 30 at 8:00pm. Tickets: $40.

You loved her in The Memory Show, Guys and Dolls and her Mainstage concert… now Leslie Kritzer is back at BSC and this time it ‘ s up-close and intimate at Mr. Finn’s. Leslie will share stories of her life on and off Broadway, belt out some killer tunes and make it one memorable Memorial Day weekend.  Join Leslie with the amazing Vadim Feichtner at piano and get ready to see a one-of-a-kind star!

JUNE 5 & 6

Christina Bianco in Diva Moments – June 5 & 6 at 8:00pm. Tickets: $35.

“Tour de force … Bianco’s work is something to see,” hailed The New York Times.  Christina’s show is filled with iconic songs that made divas out of the women who sang them; from Barbra to Celine to Britney, no celebrity is safe!  Christina performs this beloved music in her own voice, as well as impersonating the great divas including a diva “megamix” that was featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

JUNE 19 & 20

Niko Tsakalakos in The Niko Songbook – June 19 & 20 at 8:00pm. Tickets: $35

Our audiences loved his rockin’ score in the Musical Theatre Lab premiere of Pool Boy, Songs of a Night Owl, and Late Nite with Niko.  Niko’s work is a mixture of rock, pop and jazz with lyrics that will delight you, excite you and show you why we think Niko is a triple-threat (he’s also an amazing singer!) talent.

Audiences will remember David as the musical virtuoso in our Musical Theatre Lab world premiere musical, Southern Comfort (which he is currently featured in Off Broadway at the Public Theater). JULY 31 & AUGUST 1

Lillias White in The Lillias White Effect – July 31 & August 1 at 8:00pm. Tickets: $45.

“Ms. White is a one-of-a kind performer who combines the sass of a classic blues mama with the skills of a Broadway star. What sets her above, and apart, from, most Broadway pop-blues shouters is a ruthless honesty and self-awareness…” – Stephen Holden, The New York Times.  Tony Award-winner and Broadway veteran (The Life, Barnum, Dreamgirls) Lillias White will pull back the show curtain to tell humorous, poignant and inspiring stories from both her personal and show business life

ABOUT BARRINGTON STAGE COMPANY:

Barrington Stage Company, a professional award-winning Equity regional theatre located in the heart of the Berkshires, in Pittsfield, MA, was co-founded in 1995 by Artistic Director Julianne Boyd. Barrington Stage’s mission is three-fold: to present top-notch, compelling work; to develop new plays and musicals; and to find fresh, bold ways to bringing new audiences into the theatre—especially young people.  Barrington Stage garnered national attention in 2004 when it premiered William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin’s musical hit The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which later transferred to Broadway, where it won two Tony Awards. In 2009/2010 Barrington Stage produced the world premiere of Mark St. Germain’s Freud’s Last Session, which later moved Off-Broadway and played for two years. St. Germain’s Becoming Dr. Ruth (which premiered at BSC as Dr. Ruth, All the Way in 2012) played Off-Broadway at the Westside Theatre in fall 2013. BSC’s all-time record-breaking musical, On the Town, originally presented in 2013, opened on Broadway in 2014 with BSC as a co-producer, where it was nominated for four Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival. Barrington Stage was voted “Best Live Theatre” by The Berkshire Eagle readers in 2011 and 2012 and was named “Best Theatre Company” in Metroland’s Best of the Capital Region 2009-2012.
