Stage II
"A remarkable new musical that is being given loving, insightful treatment ... In an age of cookie-cutter musicals that sound very much like one another, 'Harris Burdick' is a blast of clean air from the immensely gifted guys who gave us 'The Burnt Part Boys'... 'Harris Burdick' has found clarity in complexity as it takes us on a voyage through the mystery that is our imagination."--Berkshire Eagle

The Mysteries of Harris Burdick June 18, 2008 - July 5, 2008 Take a plunge into your deepest imagination with the team that brought you the summer 2006 hit musical, The Burnt Part Boys. Featuring a breathtaking musical score, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick tells the story of a writer who left a series of astonishing sketches at a publisher’s office. Instead of returning as promised with the accompanying stories, he vanishes. Inspired by Chris Van Allsburg’s famous book, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick offers one explanation for the man’s disappearance, taking the audience on a wild ride through wonder, fear, and the imagination. A fully realized production of last summer’s popular workshop!
